I have an empty home in the desert waiting for me. Along with 115 degree heat and unrelenting sun. (the opposite of what I have had this past year.) I always loved cloudy skies, fog, the ocean, and sitting outside on the porch. I will miss all of those things. I will try to shift my focus on what I have, instead of what I am leaving behind. But for now, I am going to enjoy every moment today, just me, Tom and the doggies.

idk , i guess change help to identify what is most cherished ... hopefully your new home is not far from the things you have come to love and can revisit from time to time , hoping this move opens to you increased opportunities , unexpected ventures and special moments for u and the ones u love ..... :)
Thanks, everyone always says change is good, yet I dont know anyone who truly likes that. You are right though, it helps you cherish the people and places that much more when you leave.
